I believe that knowing your self is the best way to make your working life work. That means understanding your values, and what makes you tick.  That means setting your own targets and measuring yourself against them.  That means understanding the highs and lows and consequences of being you – on you, your family, your friends, your boss, your work so that you can make informed choices on what to do next.

My style is quite intuitive and natural.  I tend to draw upon a number of recognized theories including NLP and positive psychology to help my clients develop their thinking.  When provocation is helpful I can cut straight to the point, but I’m not brutal.

I have worked in professional environments for most of my career so I value the nurturing environment that coaching provides to support more formal arenas.

Credentials: I hold a Business & Personal Coaching Certificate with Barefoot Coaching and I am currently writing essays for the final stages of a PG Cert with Chester University in the same topic.  I am an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and Member of National Council of Psychotherapists.

Practice:  My one to one coaching clients include senior and middle managers, young people (aged 18-30) and business owners.  I have trained to be a Bird Table coach (female business owners) and I also volunteer with a social enterprise called DotCoach which is focused on providing coaching opportunities for people who couldn’t usually afford it.

Previous Experience: Prior to gaining my coaching certificate I undertook thousands of hours of coaching and mentoring in the workplace. Developing not just my direct team members but also joining initiatives and schemes to support the wider business, I was known for being reliable and confidential so I often took the role as upward coach/ mentor with my line managers.
